Trainee program

With a trainee program for engineers/project managers (m/f/d), the R&M Group offers graduates of engineering an optimal entry into the shipbuilding industry. During the two-year trainee program, you will work as a team member on worldwide projects and will train and deepen your technical knowledge as well as your social skills.

The contents of the trainee program will be agreed with you in advance and during the term of traineeship. You will get insights in various departments and support the project managers in their daily business. Likewise, two stays abroad of approximately three months are planned. During the program, a mentor will provide you with advice and experience to help you get started in the professional world.

Requirements: Good technical understanding and spoken and written English skills as well as a successful completed of the Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering in the fields of:

  • Shipbuilding and marine technology
  • Mechanical engineering - focus on energy and plant systems and manufacturing technology
  • Wood technology
  • Wood engineering
  • Civil engineering
  • Interior design architecture with practical experience in craft or supply engineering

Duration: 24 months
