Our company: exciting history, exceptional industry

More than 130 years ago, the Rheinhold brothers founded the Vereinigte Kieselgur and Korksteingesellschaft Rheinhold & Co. and laid the foundations for the R&M Group. The industrial company first established its excellent reputation with cork, later with plastics and their use as insulation material. The profound expertise in this segment paved the way for business activities in the shipbuilding industry and the portfolio was constantly expanded to include design, construction and installation of ship insulation. Gradually, HVAC solutions, the design and implementation of the entire interior outfitting complemented the range of turnkey solutions on board and formed our unique portfolio.
