Delegation of German Consulate General Visits H1508-Adora Magic City

On December 12, 2023, a delegation from the German Consulate General in Shanghai visited the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipyard (SWS) at the invitation of R&M CIT and toured H1508, China's first large cruise ship, the "Adora Magic City."

The delegation consisted of Deputy Consul General Lukas Meyer, Head of the Hamburg Liaison Office in China Pan Ye, Economic and Science Affairs Secretary Katja Saubert, Legal Counsel Sabina Netzer, and intern Lars Gedlek.

The Deputy General Manager of R&M CIT, Teddy Gu, COO Yao Tianzuo, PM Monika Sliwka, and Project Manager Jere Mikkonen accompanied the delegation and guided them through the ship. Teddy Gu explained R&M/R&M CIT's involvement in the H1508 project, emphasizing the successful exchange and cooperation between China, Germany, and Europe.
