At the 1st of April 2016 a new subsidiary R&M Marine Engineering Services India Pvt. Ltd. was founded in the Indian port Chennai, the south-eastern federal state Tamil Nadu, which is one of the most important locations for shipbuilding. Most of the employees are engineers, specialized in Maritime, Electrical and Design Engineering.

This enables R&M to expand their portfolio in the service of technical engineering, in the field of Ship Design and Construction.
